What is the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha?
The 3 Mukhi Rudraksha is a sacred bead marked by three natural lines (Mukhis) on its surface. Also known as the Teen Mukhi or Three-Faced Rudraksha, it is associated with the energy of Agni Dev, the God of Fire—symbolizing purity, transformation, and the burning away of past karmas.
This Rudraksha also represents the powerful trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—the cosmic creators, preservers, and destroyers. It holds the vibration of divine fire that transforms negativity, instills courage, and energizes the wearer.
The 3 Mukhi Rudraksha is governed by Mars (Mangal). Its fiery influence enhances vitality, removes lethargy, boosts confidence, and improves blood circulation. It strengthens self-esteem, reduces fear, and shields children from negative energies.
We offer the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha in Large and Collector sizes.
About the Ruling Planet: Mars
Mars, or Mangal, symbolizes action, energy, passion, and ambition. Representing the fire element, Mars governs assertiveness, courage, and determination. It rules the zodiac signs Aries and Scorpio, and influences initiative and personal power.
A balanced Mars brings:
- Courage and confidence
- Leadership and ambition
- Willpower and success
- However, an afflicted Mars may cause:
- Anger and aggression
- Impatience or irritability
- Accidents, injuries, or conflicts
The 3 Mukhi Rudraksha helps harmonize the fiery influence of Mars. It reduces anger, conflict, and impulsiveness, and protects against physical or legal troubles. At the same time, it enhances Mars’s positive qualities—bravery, determination, leadership, and the drive to achieve goals.

Story of the Presiding Deity :
In ancient texts, Agni Dev is revered as the eternal flame, the purifier, and the messenger of the gods. He can be pleased by chanting his Gayatri Mantra and by wearing the Teen Mukhi Rudraksha, which embodies his fiery essence.
Agni Dev has a profound connection with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. According to mythology, a divine and fiery seed from Lord Shiva—destined to destroy the demon Tarkasura—was entrusted to Agni for safekeeping. Agni carried this sacred seed to Goddess Ganga, who then placed it in the Sharavana reeds, where it eventually manifested as Kartikeya, the mighty son of Shiva.
Agni Dev, one of the Panch Mahabhutas (Five Elements), burns impurities into ash and illuminates the soul with clarity and wisdom. The Rig Veda describes him as present in the heavens, earth, sky, and the underworld.
Just as fire provides warmth and transforms everything it touches, the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha ignites inner strength, burns away past negativity, and blesses the wearer with confidence, purity, and a guilt-free, empowered existence.
