What is the 2 Mukhi Rudraksha?
The 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is a sacred bead distinguished by its two natural lines or faces, also known as the Do Mukhi or Two-Faced Rudraksha. It represents the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in their combined form, Ardhanarishwara—the perfect balance of masculine and feminine energies. This bead symbolizes harmony, duality, and the inseparable nature of creation and consciousness.
The 2 Mukhi Rudraksha also embodies the energy of the Moon, its ruling planet. As the Moon governs emotions, intuition, and the mind, this bead helps reduce the Moon’s negative influences such as emotional instability, depression, and poor concentration. It brings balance between material and spiritual life and harmonizes the inner masculine and feminine forces.
Our 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is available in Collector, Super Collector, and Haridwar varieties.

Story of the Presiding Deity
According to ancient scriptures, a demon named Adi possessed the ability to change his form at will. One day, seeking to deceive Lord Shiva, he approached the Lord disguised as Devi Parvati. Shiva, the all-knowing, instantly recognized the trickery and destroyed the demon. However, when Parvati saw another woman with Shiva—even though she was unaware of the disguise—she was overcome with rage and cursed Nandi, Shiva’s loyal gatekeeper, turning him into stone.
Parvati’s anger shook the cosmos. To restore balance, Lord Brahma intervened and separated her furious dark form, Kali, from her. Parvati then manifested as Gauri, a serene and radiant golden form. Brahma blessed her and proclaimed that her divine essence would merge inseparably with that of her consort, Lord Shiva.
Thus emerged Ardhanarishwara, the half-male, half-female manifestation—an embodiment of perfect unity, balance, and harmony. The 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is revered as a symbol of this divine union.
